Chavurah
[cha-vu-rah, khah-voo-rah, khah-voo-rohs…] a community of like-minded Jews who come together to share communal experiences. Crouch End Chavurah is a small but vibrant Jewish community, affiliated to the Liberal movement.
How do you do your Judaism?
We cherish Jewish heritage, but interpret Judaism in a modern, progressive way. Our community is fully inclusive, welcoming individuals, families where only one partner is Jewish, same sex couples and patrilineal Jews.
Whatever you are looking for from your local Jewish community, we think you’ll find us accepting, inclusive and relevant.
What we do
We are a “post-building” community. We hold a wide range of services and events throughout the year in people’s homes and school halls. There are Friday nights at home, High Holy Day services, a communal Seder, as well as family-friendly Chanukah and Purim parties.
